Switching accounts is easy.

With PeoplesBank's Switch Kit, switching your bank account is easy. We take the hassle out of switching your direct deposits and automatic payments to PeoplesBank. Even closing your old account is a breeze. You can receive your standard PeoplesBank Visa Debit immediately by visiting any of our convenient offices.

If you already have a PeoplesBank account, you can use the convenient letters below to switch now! If you don't have an account yet, you can get started by visiting one of our many offices or opening an account online.

Convenient, pre-written letters.

  • Switch Direct Deposits
    Make a list of any direct deposits that come into your account (i.e. employer, social security, investment dividends, etc.). Complete this Direct Deposit form, print and mail to send written notice to each.
  • Switch Automatic Payments
    Make a list of any automatic payments that come out of your account (i.e. loans, utilities, insurances, etc.). Reviewing your monthly statements will help you identify these companies. Complete this Automatic Payments form, print and mail to send written notice to each.
  • Close Old Accounts
    Once all of your checks have cleared the account and your direct deposits and automatic withdrawals have switched and are showing on your PeoplesBank account statement, then complete this Close Account form, print and mail to send written notice to your previous bank.
