PeoplesBank Names Romika Odedra to Lead New West Hartford Banking Center Team

HOLYOKE, MA (August 27, 2021) – PeoplesBank has announced the appointment of Romika Odedra as Vice President, Regional Manager, and Manager of its new banking center located at 102 Lasalle Road in West Hartford. She has more than 15 years of financial services and banking experience in the West Hartford market.

In her new position, Ms. Odedra ensures the banking center meets and exceeds service and sales goals, provides excellent customer service, operates according to all bank policies and procedures, and serves as a leader within the community.

“Romika is a proven leader in this market, and we are excited to have her heading up our retail banking operations in West Hartford,” states Aleda De Maria, Executive Vice President, Consumer Banking and Operations at PeoplesBank. “With her strong connections to the community, she has been instrumental in helping us open our newest banking center and introducing customers to our innovative banking technology.”

A resident of Westbrook, Connecticut, Ms. Odedra earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central Connecticut State University and completed training at the Connecticut Bankers Association School of Finance and Management. She is a long-standing member of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce.

At the West Hartford Banking Center, she will be supported by her team, which includes Kevin Hernandez, Banking Center Operations Specialist, Karmeliz Camacho, Banking Center Senior Operations Specialist; and Kris Lucke, Banking Center Assistant Manager.
